Who are ECN Capital?

ECN Capital (ecncapital.com) is an unregulated trading platform who are registered in the Marshall Islands.

It is important to know that ecncapital.com are not at all related to the real ECN Capital Corporation (ecncapitalcorp.com) who are a bona fide, Canadian based, financing company.

To copy the name of a genuine financial institute is a common scam tactic.  The reason for this being that when you google ECN Capital you will find plenty of legitimate media and literature on the legitimate company with almost an identical name.  In this case the difference is very subtle.

Initially ecncapital.com stated that they are under the regulatory body of CySec (Cyprus Securities Exchange Commission), this was never the case and has never been true or verified.  It now states on the ecncapital.com website that that ecncapital.com is under the parent company Prisma Global Ltd which is registered in the Marshall Islands.

What’s wrong with a Marshall Islands based trading company?

In short… Everything.  A trading company set up in the Marshall Islands and regulated in the Marshall Islands means that nobody is making sure that the company are not committing outright fraud.  Which is the case 100% of the time.  There is literally ZERO regulation and that means this company controls that what appears to be open financial markets.

Where are the Marshall Islands?

See for your self:

See that spec of land in the middle of the Pacific Ocean?  That’s it.

This will give you a better idea of how big it is:

The Marshall Islands are a group of sinking islands with a population of a little over 50,000.  With no active governance of any trading companies.
